Brighton Grove Allotment Association are holding their 34th Annual Show on Sunday 4th September 2011 at Birch Grove Community Centre, Brighton Grove, Rusholme.
Doors open at 2.30pm. Admission 50p
Refeshments and allotment grown produce will be on sale throughout the afternoon.
Gorton Horticultural Society are holding their Annual Flower and Veg Show along with a fun-day.
There is lots of things to do for all the family that includes a Bric-Brac Stall, Darts, Golf, fun rides, a great Bar-b-Cue and refreshments.
New features for this year are a Garden Demo, Face Painting an Donkey Cart Rides. Also, they will be having a Kids Animal Corner with snakes, spiders, hedgehogs, bats, bee keeper, Giant African Land Snails, Breaded Dragon and Beeswax Candle-making.
It’s all happening Sunday 28th August, 12noon – 5.00pm at Gorton Reservoir Allotments, off Alston Road, Gorton. (next to the donkey centre).

New life is being blown in the Cleveleys Avenue Allotments Blogsite. The blog has been dormant for a while – since the first post way back in 2008, in fact.
They have now blow the dust off, spruce it up and made it a resource for plotholders of Cleveleys Avenue Allotments and for those interested in allotmenting.
