Levenhulme - Call to action on 28th / 29th April!

April 23rd, 2007

The Levenshulme and District site is to hold its second Volunteers’ Weekend, 28th & 29th April, with more work needed on the new recycling and waste area. Our first weekend attracted more than 20 plot holders to come together for the first time, clearing the over-grown space, sorting the waste and preparing the ground for recycling bins to be erected.

Click here to see some shots from the days.

There’s a huge amount to do on the site - with 208 plots it is the largest in the North West, and with so much previously uncultivated we are all excited at the prospect of more people to give it a more well-loved look!
