MY PLOT APRIL 27th TO MAY 3rd
What a change this week has made to the way things are growing, the hedge along side the site is now in full leaf and a beautiful shade of light green. Many things are now starting to start growing a lot faster but we are still well behind last year. The strawberries that I planted out last weekend have now stood up and are showing signs of beginning to grow.
The rest of the plot is still looking empty with much digging and raking still to do ready for planting. The seedlings in the tunnels have now got to the stage for transplanting into small pots or modules, this will be done this week. The soil outside is now beginning to warm up sufficiently to start sowing.
With the carrot frame up I have sown four rows of carrots this weekend I will carry on with regular sowing for a few weeks to fill the bed. I have also sown some peas and broad beans in the ground to see if it is time to get on with more sowing.
I had a massive sow in trays this weekend and hopefully have now put myself back on time.
